What is Fine Chemicals Do ? 

Fine chemicals are highly pure and specialized chemicals used as intermediates or building

blocks in producing a wide range of products, such as pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals,

and electronic materials. Fine chemicals are typically produced in small batches and have a

high purity level, often exceeding 99.9%. They are often complex molecules requiring

sophisticated production processes and specialized manufacturing equipment. The fine chemical

industry is a critical part of the global chemical industry and plays a crucial role in enabling the

production of many of the products we use in our daily lives.

 

Recent years, experts from various countries have gained new insights into the definition of fine chemicals.

Some countries in Europe and the United States refer to chemicals that are produced and sold according to

different chemical structures as fine chemicals; Products that are processed and cracked and have special

functions or end-use properties are called specialty chemicals. China and Japan collectively refer to these

two types of products as fine chemicals.
