1. Food industry: temperature and humidity are of great important for food storage. The change of temperature

and humidity will lead to food deterioration and food safety problems. The monitoring of temperature and

Archives management: paper products are very sensitive to temperature and humidity, improper preservation

will seriously reduce the storage life of archives. With temperature and humidity products, exhaust fan,

dehumidifier and heater, a stable temperature can be realized to avoid pests, moisture and other problems.

Greenhouses: plants for temperature and humidity requirement is very strict. Under improper temperature

Nowadays, the application of civil temperature and humidity sensors is becoming more and more common,

but the industrial temperature and humidity sensors still occupy the dominant position.

 

They are both used for temperature and humidity measurements. What is the difference between an

industrial temperature and humidity sensor and an ordinary temperature and humidity sensor?

Wide measurement range: the temperature and humidity measurement range of an ordinary T/H sensor

are -10℃~50℃ and 20% RH~99% RH respectively. When the temperature and humidity values are too

high, the equipment is easy to damage. The measurement range of industrial-grade temperature and

humidity sensors can satisfy higher measurement requirements. Taking the HENGKO wall-mounted

temperature and humidity sensor HT802C as an example, the operating temperature and humidity of

the sensor circuit are -20℃ ~ 80℃ and 0% RH ~ 100% RH respectively, the probe operating temperature 

and humidity are -40℃ ~ + 125℃ and 0% RH-100% RH respectively.

3. High measurement Accuracy: the temperature and humidity measurement accuracy of an ordinary T/H

sensor are generally ±1 ~ 3℃ and ±5RH % respectively. The temperature and humidity measurement

accuracy of HENGKO HT802C wall-mounted T/H sensor are ±0.2℃ (25℃) and ± 2%RH

(10%RH ~ 90%RH, 25℃), respectively. Ordinary temperature and humidity sensor can not reach this accuracy.

High integration: Ordinary T/H sensors can only be used to measure temperature and humidity.

real time, but also directly collect data RS485 and analog quantities and transfer them to the computer

4. Fast Frequency Response: The frequency response characteristics of temperature and humidity sensors

determine the frequency range to be measured, and the measurement conditions must be maintained

within the permissible frequency range. In fact, there is always a fixed delay on the sensor response 

and we want the delay to be as short as possible. The frequency response of the sensor is high and the

measurable signal frequency range is wide. The temperature and humidity response time of HENGKO 

HT802C wall-mounted T/H sensor are ≤10s (1m/s wind speed), with which ordinary T/H sensor can

not compare.

 

5. Industrial Protective Housing: as an industrial-grade sensor, it needs to adapt to a variety of harsh

environments. The HENGKO HT802C wall-mounted T/H sensor uses IP65-IP67 protective housing,

which is sealed and waterproof and resistant to high temperatures. In dusty and rainy environments,
